Educator Professional Development Workshops

We offer engaging, evidence-based workshops for early childhood educators, delivered after hours at your centre. Each session runs for 1–1.5 hours and includes practical strategies, real-world examples, and take-home resources. Topics include:

  Understand typical speech and language development (0–5 years) and know when and how to refer to a speech pathologist.

  Learn how to raise developmental concerns with families in a respectful, supportive, and effective way.

  Discover simple strategies to support children’s language through daily routines, play, and interactions.

  Use interactive book reading to build children’s vocabulary, comprehension, and storytelling skills.

  Gain practical advice for supporting children learning more than one language in early learning settings.

• Stuttering in Children: What Educators Need to Know
  Learn how to identify, respond to, and support children who stutter, and when to refer.

School Education Services

Teacher Workshops

We offer speech pathology workshops for school staff, including teachers, learning support teams and general classroom teachers, to build practical skills in supporting children’s communication, language and literacy needs in the classroom.

We also provide joint Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy workshops in collaboration with Child Sense Occupational Therapy, offering a combined approach to understanding and supporting both communication and sensory-motor needs.

Our workshops are practical, hands-on and tailored to each school’s needs, with strategies that can be immediately implemented in everyday classroom settings.

Communication Screeners

We provide free 15-minute screening assessments at your centre to help identify children who may benefit from extra support.
